Head of Family Office
With over three decades of international experience in private banking, wealth management, and corporate strategy, Rune heads the Family Office unit at White Oak.
In his role, Rune serves as a central orchestrator for high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients, selecting and supervising external wealth managers, custodians, and service providers to ensure optimal performance and alignment across investment mandates. He also guides clients through White Oak’s full suite of fiduciary and corporate support solutions, including company incorporation, domiciliation, bookkeeping, tax compliance, and property administration.
Throughout his career in Luxembourg, Norway, Germany, and the US, Rune has held key advisory and leadership positions at prominent institutions including Pensum Asset Management, DNB Luxembourg, Nordea, and Acta. Earlier in his career, he worked as a financial journalist for Norway’s leading business publication, Dagens Næringsliv, following years as a macro analyst and trader in foreign exchange and fixed income.
